Not less than 7 of the most infamous and beautiful Alpine climbs start from Barcelonnette : the Col d’Allos, the Col de la Cayolle, Pra-Loup, Super Sauze, the Col de Vars, the Col de Larche and the Col de la Bonnette. 

But that’s not all. Within cycling distance or a short drive, you can also climb some more giants like Col de l’Izoard, the Col des Champs, Isola 2000 and the Col de la Lombarde, the Col Agnel/Colle dell’Agnello, the Col du Galibier.
