Description:
Well-know col, but not as difficult as it looks by reputation. There are nicer and more difficult alternatives in the neighbourhood like the Col de Beyrède and the Hourquette d'Ancizan. Especially the west-side is a "piece of cake" for the biking lover. Just the last 5 kilometers are, with about 8%, quite difficult.
