I rode this climb yesterday having had it on my list for years. My lowest gear was 39 x 27 and I was in that just after the first cattle grid, but made it up without stopping with a mix of seated and out of the saddle efforts. It may not be long, but when you are doing 7 mph and lower it takes some time until you hit the top cattle grid and relax. I only had a few cars come past, but it''s April and the weather was hardly enticing for visitors to the area. I bet it''s rammed in the summer! I might come back in October and see if I can better the time. It was breezy yesterday, and the pass acts like a funnel creating a rather annoying head wind. Loved it though!
